To download waypoints, routes and tracks from a legacy Garmin unit:
•Plug in the cable from your GPS to your computer
•Switch the GPS on
•In Phoenix Mapping, select GPS from the pull down menu at the top of the screen and select Legacy Garmin GPS > Download From GPS
•The download window will then appear. The download window has three tabs - Waypoints, Routes and Tracks. This information can then be plotted onto any layer in the project
