To record deaths you need to identify the individual animal/s that have died. This can be a manual selection or from a File Import.
Ration or Killers can also be identified in deaths. This flows through to reporting to give an even clearer understanding of animal numbers.
To record Deaths:
•In the Selection Panel, select (tick) the animal group and location of the group that contains the animal/s that died. Right mouse click to Expanding All/Collapsing All and Untick All/Tick All. •In the Animal Panel, select the individual animal/s that died. •Click  Trans on the Toolbar and select Deaths. •The Deaths entry screen will be displayed in the Activity Panel. Enter the details as required. •If the animal has been slaughtered for your own consumption, tick the Ration box. This is significant for reporting. •When finished, click Save.

•Click Trans on the Toolbar and select Deaths. •The Deaths entry screen will be displayed in the Activity Panel. Enter the details as required. •Click  . •Browse to the file containing the dead animals details and click Open. The file will need to be in .csv or .txt file format. If the file is not visible check the File of Type selected at the bottom of the window. •The next window is the File Import window. The contents of the file is displayed at the bottom. As there are a multitude of file formats, you may need to map the columns in relation to their contents. The RFID and NLISID columns by default, should already be mapped. If the file contains headers or other sundry information at the top, you can select the number of lines to ignore at the top and bottom of the file. Type the number of lines into the respective Ignore fields. •If the columns do need to be mapped, then in the Column Mapping section there will be a list of columns. Click in the adjacent cell to be presented with a drop-down list of headings. Select the heading that defines the content of that column. Repeat for each column that is relevant. Not all columns have to be mapped. •Click OK. •In the activity Panel there will now be a grid with a row for each animal imported from the file. Once finished entering the details, click Save. |
