Phoenix Livestock separates livestock into Types. Typically these will be Cattle, Sheep, etc or can be more specific such as Trade Cattle, Breeding Cattle, etc. How you choose to categorise your livestock is entirely up to you. These livestock types will then be broken into Classes.
To setup Animal Types:
If you have a Activated Grazing modules you also have the ability to set a colour and pattern to represent an animal type. It is utilised to colour code the Grazing Chart making it simpler to read. To set the colour for Animal Types: •Click Setup on the drop-down menu and select Animal Types.
•Select an animal type in the left hand panel and its details will display on the right. •Click the Colour button, select a colour to represent this animal type and click OK. •Click •When finished, click Save. •Repeat these steps for each Animal Type. NB: Existing and newly created Animal Types will automatically be assigned default colours which can be edited. |
