Objects, be they polygons, lines or points can be dragged and dropped to re-position on the map. Typically this feature is used as a planning tool.
To move objects:
•Select the layer in the layer list the objects/s are on.
•Click the down arrow on the Move 
button and select 
button.
•Click and hold down the left mouse button over the object and drag to the desired location. This can be repeated on the same object to fine tune its placement.
•When finished, click the Select 
button to take it out of the drag function.
NB: There is no undo once an object has been moved other than to close the project without saving.
