Phoenix is designed to have as short a learning curve as possible. There are special aids that help you find your way around the program. They are all available from the Tools menu:
Show Hints. This feature, which is on by default, gives information labels to items such as Toolbar buttons. Just place your cursor arrow over the item and the Hint will appear.
Assistant. When activated from the Tools menu, the Assistant offers a more detailed explanation than Hints of what the cursor is positioned on. The Assistant is a great way for new users to get that little more information on functionality and can be turned off at any time.
Options. The Phoenix Suite Screen is where you can configure settings that apply to all modules of Phoenix:
