Planning tables are used for formulating detailed budget projections for a variety of rural production activities.

There are four types of planning tables:

Crop

Crop Pools

Livestock

Animal Production

These tables record details of the physical production for the various activities. Details like Crop Area, Livestock Numbers, Crop, Milk or Wool Yield, Sale or Use of production or produce value are recorded by the table. These details are then available for use in various worktables in the budget. Produce value and quantity are also used to determine enterprise net worth.

The real power of this system is that the user can set up a budget according to an activity plan, then easily apply various alterations to the plan to see the effect. You can vary the area to be sown, Number of head sold, Yield or market value. Because all variable costs and incomes relating to the activity are related to details in the table, the effect on cashflow and net worth can be immediately seen.

For a complete report on the activity plan, select Production from the Reports Menu.
