| Ctrl + Mouse Button Held Down | Pan the map in most modes including whilst drawing and editing. |
| Ctrl + Single Mouse Click | Limits the selection of objects to the active layer. Also provides ability to multi select objects on that layer. |
| Alt | Holding down the Alt key when in drawing and editing modes temporarily turns off snapping. |
| Shift | Holding down the Shift key when in drawing and editing modes will enable snapping to a line. |
| Delete | When in Edit Existing Object mode, it will delete the active or selected object. |
| Ctrl + A | Selects All objects on the active or highlighted layer. |
| Ctrl + B | Create Buffers for selected object/s. |
| Ctrl + C | Copy selected objects to different layer of same type with or without Object Properties or Object Data fields. |
| Ctrl + S | Save the current project. |
| Ctrl + W | Launch the Layer Wizard. |
| Right Mouse Click | Gives various menu options when performed in the main map window, in the Object Data tab and when in Move Labels mode. |
| Ins (Insert) | Launches the Plot Points function. |
| Ctrl + Z | Undo. When in Draw New Object or Edit Existing Object mode, it will undo the previous drawing action/s. |
| Ctrl + R | Redo. When in Draw New Object or Edit Existing Object mode, it will redo the previous undo action/s. |
| Ctrl + O | Open an existing project. |
| Ctrl + N | Create a New project. |
| Shift + Delete | Deletes ALL objects on the active layer. |
| Ctrl + Delete | Deletes the active layer. |
| F1 | Help (Phoenix Help System). |
| Mouse Wheel | Zoom in and zoom out. Need to select a layer in the layer list to activate this function. |
| F10 | View full extent of the project. |
| Double mouse click | When performed on a layer name in the layer list will open the Layer Properties. |
Printing
| Ctrl + P | Launches the Print Preview window. When in print preview, Ctrl + P again will print the current view. |
| Alt + D | Swaps the view to the Designer tab. |
| Alt + V | Swaps the view to the Preview tab. |
| Shift + ←↑→↓ | Re-sizes the selected object in the Print Design tab. |
| Alt + ←↑→↓ | Moves the selected object in the Print Design tab. |
| F5 | Refresh the Preview screen. |
