Sales and purchase in the cash-book that affect the quantity of a commodity or the number of livestock on hand may be linked to the physical account at the time of cash-book dissection entry.
1.In Setup Categories, allocate the appropriate physical account in the Link To field of all categories involved with the purchase or sale of livestock or commodities.
2.When entering dissections, after selecting the Enterprise / Season, Phoenix will pop up the Link window if the allocated sub-category is "linked" to any account. The link window will offer all available accounts to link to. The physical accounts linked to should be allocated to the enterprise selected for this dissection.
Note: If a cash-book entry affects a physical account balance, it must be linked in this way. Do not make a direct entry into a physical account for such transactions.
